Disclosure and review standards

Current status: Rack & Rivet has not activated Etsy affiliate links. No Etsy affiliate commissions are currently earned through this site.

Affiliate relationships

If Rack & Rivet is approved to participate in an affiliate program and we add qualifying product links, we will place a clear disclosure close to those recommendations. A disclosure will explain that we may earn a commission when a reader buys through a qualifying link.

Product information

We will distinguish information stated by a maker or seller from observations based on hands-on testing. We will not describe a product as tested unless we have actually tested it.

Current product availability

Product availability, dimensions, included parts, prices, shipping charges, and seller policies can change. Readers should confirm current details with the seller before ordering.

How we choose what to cover

Our guides start with practical questions such as fit, dimensions, storage style, mounting requirements, and return terms. A mention or link is not a guarantee that an item will work for a particular garage, tool, or installation.
